The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition's annual Shine a Light of Hope for MSA campaign kicks off on Giving Tuesday, November 30, 2021 and runs to January 1, 2022.
Matching funds are a powerful way to encourage others to give. Fundraising research shows that nonprofits are more successful when using matching funds from donors to fuel increased online giving. 84% of survey participants revealed they’re more likely to donate if a match was offered.

Here's how it works: We are collecting pledges now from very special friends and supporters of the MSA Coalition in advance of our annual Shine a Light of Hope for MSA campaign. Those who pledge now will have their pledge added to the total of all other recorded pledges. This total will comprise our available Matching Gift Fund. When we kick off our campaign to the general public on November 30th we will announce our total available Matching Gift Funds previously pledged. New donors will be encouraged to give between November 30, 2021 and January 1, 2022 and receive a match.
Example: 1. You give us your pledge now to donate $1000 (or any other donor level). 2. We acknowledge you or your family along with your dedication message (if desired) on our Circle of Hope web page. 3. You choose to honor your pledge anytime between November 30, 2021 and January 31, 2022 either online, via ACH, or by check. Note: There is no additional requirement to provide more than your original pledge. 4. New donors will have their donation matched by your pledge and the pledges of other Circle of Hope Champions.
